Fall cleanups are underway 🍃🍂🍁🎃

October is coming to a close and the stubborn leaves are beginning to drop. We all love the beautiful fall foliage, but sure hate the cleanup. Right now is the best opportunity to prune those perennial plants before they go dormant. Please give us a call to get scheduled before winter arrives!

Today the team tackled an ivy overload. We exposed the wood timber retaining wall and brought back the property’s curb appeal. We trimmed a few euonymus japonicas, japanese yew, japanese maple, cypress, forsythia and burning bushes. Ironically, I was able to capture a blue jay mid flight 📸🐦

Will it ever stop raining? ☔️🌧️

That is the ongoing question we keep asking ourselves. Regardless, the show must go on…

The crew installed a sharp 90 degree edge throughout the entire property separating the grass from the pre-existing 3/4” autumn red stone. Along the way we top dressed a couple bare spots. Pruned a burning bush, Japanese maple tree, blue spruce evergreen and 4 beautiful boxwood shrubs.

We observed Arbor Day a week late… oh well, don’t let the writers of the farmers almanac know.

Planted 3 beautiful 7’ Emerald Green Arborvitae supplied from Seltzer's Nursery & Landscaping. 🌳🌳🌳

Went with the all natural zigzag appeal to add depth and tighten up the privacy. Topped off with a fresh layer of black mulch to aid with moisture retention. Finally, tied these evergreens down so the wind won’t shift them out of position.

It’s been cold, but we managed to crank through a few jobs over the last couple of months. Praying for some warmer weather… but not too hot 🥵

Meeting the challenge of providing Christmas Assistance for 950 local families is a big one. We are thankful to partners like Charles, his team, and players at Out of Bounds Disc Golf.

Each year, their toy donations increase, which helps to bring joy and happiness to more children in need during the holiday season. We thank you for coming alongside us. Your contributions make a significant difference in the work we do.
