As a woodworker, sometimes you get to have creative freedom to create great piece. I had that opportunity for a great customer that let me work my magic. I found an incredible curly walnut slab, with a ton of features, and some super thick stock of spalted maple. This project evolved into one of my favorites! Another inlayed slab glue up- I love how the joint of the two slabs is organically shaped and not just a straight line. These are 2 English walnut slabs, finishing at 72”x34” for a custom space.. base will be custom welded to give a really organic and zen vibe. Progress pictures to come
