Material Handling
Wire Pulling

Follow all safety rules and alerts a supervisor if safety hazards are identified

Requirements / Qualifications:

Must be willing to take direction and learn!! Teamwork and a positive attitude is an absolute must!!
Transportation to / from work (Valid driver's license is preferred!)
Come to work on time every day (Monday thru Friday) with appropriate attire and hand tools
Ability to SAFELY use hand / power tools and / or equipment
Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs when required on the job and loading and unloading materials.
Must be able to climb a ladder with materials / tools and work safely
Demonstrate safe work habits and proper care of tools and equipment
Work well in close proximity with others.
Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull and reach overhead.
Ability to read and understand blueprints is a PLUS!
Comply with any and all company policies and procedures.

We are looking for an effective New Construction Residential Electrical Warehouse Manager to direct receiving, warehousing and distribution operations. You will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing and dispatch of a wide variety of products. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.

Summary Directs warehousing activities by performing the following duties personally or through supervisors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Coordinates with Office Manager regarding inventory changes or needs.

Inspects and maintains physical condition of warehouse, facility and equipment.

Processes returns and credits with vendors with proper documentation.

Schedules and conducts physical inventories throughout the fiscal year.

Prepares work order for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment through Office Manager.

Confers with project managers to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as T-Poles, rough kits, trim kits, and purchasing.

Maintains all tools for workability and safe operation prior to delivery to jobsites.

Reports request for tool or equipment needs to Office Manager for purchase.

Coordinates with Office Manager for Daily Delivery requirements as needed.

Job Description
Experienced, hardworking Residential Lead Electricians wanted for a busy electrical contractor in Navassa, Leland and surrounding areas. Previous experience is required. Eligible candidates will be assisting / leading a crew through all phases of Residential Electrical new construction installation. Must have experience leading a crew.

Responsibilities:

Manage assigned projects / jobs from start to completion with minimal supervision.

As an electrical superintendent, your duties are to supervise the planning and installation of an electrical system in new or existing construction. You primarily work on projects in new home construction. As a superintendent, your responsibilities include helping to plan and manage the installation process. You also oversee testing to ensure the safety of the electrical system.

You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all of the activities of a construction site according to project blueprints and schedule plans. Your duties include coordinating electricians and helpers, performing quality control and safety checks and providing on-site direction when preparing job sites.

We are looking for a candidate who is hands-on and will make the project their own by taking full control of the field operations, running the schedule, pushing the project team, and wiring a quality building on time and under budget. Candidate will need to be comfortable working with and managing workers across diverse disciplines and skillsets to build a cohesive, capable team. The person should also be proficient with computers, and technology are preferred.

Essential Traits:

Proven track record of working on a variety of residential projects
Ability to successfully coordinate schedules, workforce, equipment, and resources
A hands-on manager who is comfortable directing and evaluating on-site personnel by staying engaged in all aspects of the project
Experience navigating challenging local government bureaucratic; i.e., permitting and licensing entities
Familiarity with Project Management skills, including scope, time, and budget management
Solid understanding of building plans and specifications and the ability to maintain and interpret construction drawings for on-site team
Ability to maintain a positive relationship with the ownership team and effectively communicate the ownership team’s goals and priorities to all field team members while effectively handling any conflicts that arise between the owner’s requirements and the onsite team
Ensure the project complies with all electrical codes and other conditions; maintain high-quality standards and maintain a safe working environment
Strong analytical skills combined with the ability to maintain a high degree of precision on detailed work
Capable of overseeing construction issues for which he is not specifically certified
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously under time constraints
Strong written and oral communication skills
Qualifications:

10+ years of experience managing residential projects
Minimum of a high school diploma with a Degree in a related field such as Construction Management, Electrical Wiring, Engineering preferred
Experience working on projects that required significant power, HVAC, and wiring upgrades
Bi-lingual with fluency in English and Spanish (is a plus)
Must have a calm demeanor, be team oriented, discreet, and willing to receive constructive feedback.
