A few weeks ago, we showed the rough-in phase of this detached two-car garage/man cave. Today, we're back with the finished product and power on.

From underground power and panel installation to lighting, receptacles, and the final trim-out, it's always rewarding to see a project come together from start to finish.

Whether it's a garage, workshop, man cave, she shed, or detached building, having it wired correctly makes all the difference in how you can use the space.

Big congratulations to our insurance guy Anderson Caldwell on the arrival of his new baby! 👶

Even in the delivery room, he's still repping the Shield Electric hat. That's commitment. 😄

Wishing mom, baby, and the whole family health, rest, and lots of great memories in this new chapter.

🔥 Emergency call Friday morning — customer reported their shop lights literally went up in flames from a thermal event. 🛠️

When we arrived, the ceiling was scorched and the old T12 fixture had melted down around the ballast. We replaced the failed ballast, checked the fixture for further damage, and got them safely back up and running. 💡

Old lighting equipment can become a real fire hazard when components start failing. If your lights are flickering, humming, overheating, or tripping breakers, don’t ignore it.

Monday I climbed up in this steeple and installed a new light. It had been dark for a long time, but now it’s shining bright again.

Electricians are about to argue in the comments on this one… 👀

Backstab or terminal screws? One is faster. One is trusted more. Which one would YOU want in your house? ⚡🔥

Got this metal building fully wired and wrapped up — now we’re bringing power to it ⚡️

Setting the service, tying everything in, and getting it ready to run like it should. This is the part where it all comes together.

Clean work. Done right. No shortcuts.

If you’ve got a shop or building that needs power, we can handle it start to finish.

Walked into an orthopedic office today and… yeah 😅

A real Shaquille O'Neal shoe on display 👀
Right next to a Sasquatch footprint and a lineup of wild-looking feet.

Reminds me—this job takes you into some interesting places.

What’s the strangest thing you’ve seen on a service call? 👇

Detached two-car garage coming together 🔌

Walkthrough of a clean setup built for the essentials—boat, tools, and everything that doesn’t belong in the house. Proper power where it counts, room to work, and ready for whatever gets pulled in next.

Simple. Functional. Done right.

Had a great time being part of the gala for Canines for Service tonight.

What they’re doing is solid—training service dogs for veterans dealing with PTSD, mobility challenges, and more.

If you’ve never checked them out, take a minute:
