Sometimes the best projects are the ones you revisit.

I recently updated this custom beer flight board I originally made for my dad. The “M” was carved deeper and stained white for better contrast, the glass holders were drilled deeper for a more secure fit, and I added a routed slot to label each beer in the flight.

Small changes, big improvements. 🍺

Some projects carry a little more meaning 🎁🪵

Made this cutting board for my former professor as a thank you for all the academic guidance and course planning help she gave me over the years.
Really appreciate the time and support she invested along the way. 📚

Thank you Kristen Whiteley

Back on the bench for Mother’s Day 🪵
I made this cutting board for my mom in 2020, and recently made a small update by rounding over the corners to make it easier to handle.
A simple change, but it’s nice seeing a piece still being used years later.

Happy Mother’s Day!

This one started with an idea and ended with something meaningful 🤎
My aunt asked for a custom board for our cousin, so we went with walnut, maple, and cherry and added a personalized name to finish it off.
A gift that’ll stick around for a long time. Always enjoy working on pieces like this.

Feel free to message me if you’ve got an idea of your own.

Handmade from hard maple, this Orthodox cross features carved center details and a deep espresso finish to bring the design to life. Personalized on the back with his baptismal name and date. A meaningful gift for a lifelong journey.

The best gifts are personal. 🔥 This custom cutting board was made from walnut, maple, and cherry, then wood burned with their family name and wedding year. Something beautiful, useful, and meaningful all in one.

My first Orthodox cross, finally complete. ☦️🪵

Made from maple and brought to life with fully hand-carved interior details, this piece took countless hours of patience, carving, and refining to get right. The exterior was finished with an espresso stain, then sealed with a wipe-on polyurethane to give it that rich contrast and durability.

Measuring about 19 inches long and fitted with a hanger on the back, it’s ready to be displayed. Seeing this one come together from start to finish made every step worth it.

Hard maple + walnut.
Multiple glue-ups.
A lot of careful cuts and sanding.

All to bring this end grain pattern to life.

This is my first end grain cutting board, and it was a great reminder that the extra steps in woodworking often lead to the best results.

CROSSCUT ➡️ FLIP ➡️ END GRAIN

Leveling up the craft one cut at a time.
Officially turning this board into my first end grain piece and getting some extra hands from Papa to make it happen.

Thank you Joe Mattivi for helping capture the videos and photos!
