Now Hiring: Service Electrician

Robbins Electric is hiring an experienced Service Electrician!
This is not an entry-level position. We need someone who can troubleshoot, solve problems, communicate with customers, and work independently in both residential and commercial service settings.

Pay: $32–$40/hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
After-hours/emergency work: Possible, depending on service calls Company vehicle: Provided
Experience: 5+ years preferred

What You’ll Do:
Service work will be your main responsibility. You may also help on existing projects when needed.

Typical work includes:

-Troubleshooting lost power, tripping breakers, and GFCIs that will not reset
-Diagnosing wiring, lighting, outlet, switch, and panel issues
-Pulling new circuits in remodel situations
-Completing small repairs and electrical upgrades
-Working in occupied homes, businesses, remodels, and active job sites
-Documenting work with ServiceTitan and CompanyCam
What We’re Looking For:
The right person is a solid electrician who takes pride in clean work, clear communication, and solving problems the right way.
You should be able to:
-Diagnose common electrical issues quickly and accurately
-Work independently without being micromanaged
-Communicate clearly with customers
-Keep clean notes and job photos
-Respect customers’ homes, businesses, and job sites
-Show up on time, work safely, and represent the company well

Requirements:

-5+ years of electrical experience preferred
-Service/troubleshooting experience strongly preferred
-Valid driver’s license
-Clean driving record
-Must pass background check
-Must pass drug screen
-Comfortable with residential and commercial service work
-Willing to help on projects when service work allows

About Robbins Electric

Robbins Electric is a growing electrical contractor serving the Kansas City area with high end residential, restoration, service, and commercial electrical work. We are known for quality craftsmanship, professionalism, and building lasting relationships with our customers and contractor partners.

We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented professional to take ownership of our accounting and billing processes while helping support our continued growth.

What You'll Do

-Manage accounts receivable from invoicing through payment collection.
-Prepare and send customer invoices.
-Maintain accurate job costing by reviewing labor, materials, receipts, and supplier invoices.
-Assign materials to the appropriate jobs through customer and contractor portals.
-Coordinate with our field team to ensure billing information is complete and accurate.
-Follow up with contractors and customers regarding outstanding invoices and billing questions.
-Maintain accurate records within company software systems.
-Identify opportunities to improve billing, accounting, and administrative processes.

What We're Looking For
-2–5 years of experience in accounting, accounts receivable, billing, bookkeeping, or office administration.
-Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-Comfortable learning new software and customer portals.
-Experience in construction, electrical, contractor billing, or a similar trade is preferred.
