A packed room for Inside KC Development: Building the Future panel. 🏡

Don Julian of Don Julian Builders joined Bruce Rieke of B.L. Rieke Custom Homes, Travis Schram of GRATA Development, and Jeff Robinson of J.S. Robinson Fine Homes for a conversation with Kansas City’s real estate community about development, homebuilding, and the future of the industry.

The panel covered everything from the builder-Realtor relationship to lessons learned over decades in the industry, followed by some great questions from the room.

With more than 50 years of homebuilding experience in Kansas City, Don always has a story or two to share, but conversations like these are just as much about listening, connecting and continuing to strengthen the relationships that move our industry forward. 💪

This full-time position will support our residential design and construction projects, translating design concepts, sketches, and project requirements into accurate construction drawings.

We’re looking for someone who:
• Has strong CAD experience, with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar programs preferred
• Has previous architectural drafting experience, ideally in residential construction or homebuilding
• Is detail-oriented, organized, and accurate
• Understands construction plans, specifications, and design documentation
• Works well as part of a collaborative team

Building better homes starts with building stronger partnerships. 🤝

This month, our Project Manager Field Workshop took us to the Complete Home Concepts showroom for a behind-the-scenes look at their products, processes, and the team behind them.

We explored material selections and fireplace options, dug into installation and service details, and had real conversations about how we can keep delivering a great experience for our homeowners. There's nothing quite like getting face-to-face time with the people we work alongside every day.

A huge thank you to the Complete Home Concepts team for the hospitality and the insight, we're grateful for the partnership and excited for everything ahead.

One of our most popular floor plans is getting a fresh new look. 🔥

The Courtland Reverse has been reimagined with a bold new elevation featuring cleaner lines, expansive windows, and a grand entry that creates an entirely new first impression. 🙌

What has always made the Courtland Reverse special, however, is the way it was designed to bring people together.

🌿 A private courtyard connects directly to a dedicated pub space near the front of the home, creating the perfect setting for pre-dinner drinks, game-day gatherings, or welcoming friends without bringing the party through your entire house. It's a unique feature that continues to make this floor plan one of our most requested designs.
