Happy Friday! A little sneak peek at a recently completed basement transformation. ✨

What was once an unfinished basement is now an extension of the main floor, designed to feel cohesive with the rest of the home while creating space for both entertaining and everyday living.

The open layout brings the custom bar, game table, media area, and golf simulator together for easy hosting, while a separate hallway leads to a dedicated playroom and bathroom, giving the kids their own space.

Modern, clean lines carry throughout, with flush-frame inset cabinetry, concealed appliances, custom drywall details, arched elements, and integrated lighting. Behind the finished details, thoughtful planning and coordination helped make the most of the existing structure and mechanicals.

This morning, our Design and Production teams took a field trip to one of our nearly finished basement remodels.

With construction nearing completion, the team walked through the space together to talk through the details, from wall molding and electrical to venting and the finishing touches that bring the design together.

The basement was designed around wellness, entertaining, and everyday living, with a sauna, steam shower, cold plunge, home gym, custom bar, wine storage, fireplace, and more.

It’s always rewarding to see how every detail comes together as a project moves toward completion!

Originally, the primary bath layout wasn’t very functional. The doorway cut into the vanity and the built-in tub took up way too much space. We relocated the doorway, upgraded the shower, and added a large double oak vanity with proper storage, finished with heated terrazzo floors and streamlined plumbing fixtures.

The guest bath was dark and purely functional, so we brought in color, pattern, and texture to make it feel like our clients. Our client says this remodel has changed her quality of life and they absolutely love their new space. 🤍

Happy Friday! What does your ideal Friday night look like? 🍿🎬🥂🏋️‍♀️

A movie night and some time to unwind? Hosting friends and watching the game? Or getting in a workout before settling in for the night?

This basement was designed for all of it. What was once an unfinished lower level is now a warm, livable extension of the home, with dedicated spaces for entertaining, relaxing, working out, and spending time together.

Working around structural posts, ceiling drops, and mechanical runs, our team created an open, intentional layout with faux beams, arched openings, warm white oak, and a moody green bar that adds depth and personality.

This main floor remodel was the third project we’ve completed for these repeat clients.

After transforming their basement and primary bathroom, they invited us back to reimagine the main floor, choosing to invest in the home and neighborhood they love rather than relocate.

The kitchen was thoughtfully reconfigured to improve flow and function, creating a natural connection to the family room, where custom built-ins and an updated fireplace bring warmth and character. The former dining room became a dedicated laundry room and powder room, while the original laundry was transformed into a prep kitchen.

From the entryway through the main living spaces, every detail was considered to create a home that feels cohesive, refined, and tailored to the way this family lives.

We’re grateful for the continued trust of our repeat clients and the opportunity to help their home evolve with them.

This family loves to host, so they wanted their basement to be a place where friends and family could gather comfortably.

The finished basement features a deep blue bar, dedicated whiskey storage, a comfortable entertainment area, and a new connection to the screened-in porch, making it easy to move between areas when hosting.

We’re glad they trusted our team to help bring their vision to life, and they’re excited to put it to use with K-State football season right around the corner. 🏈
