Congratulations to our very own Tanner Wuller, Project Manager, on graduating from Leadership Northland Class of 2026!

Tanner has joined a group of leaders committed to learning, growing, and making a difference throughout the Northland. We're proud of her accomplishment and excited to see how she'll continue to apply those leadership skills across our teams, for our clients, and in our community.

Congratulations to the Leadership Northland Class of 2026 on their graduation!

The class celebrated the completion of the nine-month leadership program in style at Argosy Casino Kansas City last week. From exploring law enforcement and government to nonprofits and education, it’s been incredible watching this group connect, lead, and grow together over the past several months.

We can’t wait to see the impact these leaders continue to make across the Northland community!

This Memorial Day, we reflect on the true meaning of service and express our deepest appreciation to those who gave everything.

Safety is always our top priority, and Safety Week gives us an opportunity to place an added focus on the conversations, planning, and daily actions that help keep our teams safe!

Throughout the week, our team actively participated in Safety Week across our job sites. Each day, we took time to reinforce safe practices, recognize the responsibility we all share, and continue building a culture where everyone goes home safe. All In Together!

What makes for an ideal week at Newkirk Novak Construction Partners ? This one, where we got to do a little bit of everything we love! Engaging with students, walking a Board of Education through their spaces, and celebrating a ribbon cutting, all in just a few days!

First up, Spring Hill Schools: we had the opportunity to walk alongside Spring Hill board members through three elementary additions that are taking shape. It's awesome to see the excitement about the forward progress in the Spring Hill community!

Next, Smithville School District: our project team enjoyed giving high school architecture and civil engineering students a firsthand look at how design concepts for their school translate into construction on site.

Finally, Liberty Public Schools: we celebrated with a ribbon cutting, complete with an inaugural lap from the track team, on Liberty Middle School's brand-new track, just in time for the season!

Community is at the heart of every project we build, and from student tours to BOE walks to ribbon cuttings, weeks like this one are special to us!

As we wrap up Women in Construction Week, we are proud to highlight another woman who helps make Newkirk Novak great! Grace Gundelfinder, Project Engineer, shares that her favorite part of working at NNCP is the welcoming culture and the people she works with. She loves that she is trusted with real responsibility while also receiving support from experienced leaders, giving her opportunities to take on new challenges and continue expanding her skills. Grace continues to do great work supporting our projects for Spring Hill Schools , and we are excited to see what she accomplishes next!

Phase II of Liberty Public Schools' Heritage Middle School involved renovating the 1923 wing, modernizing the learning environment while preserving the building's original character. The result? A fresh, functional space that has the students' seal of approval.
