This summer, our teams across the U.S. have found ways to connect, collaborate, and build stronger relationships with one another and the communities around them. ☀️🤝

PCI Memphis held their annual Family Fest day, gathering family and friends together for an afternoon filled with food, games, prizes, and memories.

Members of the PCI Dallas crew joined Holder Construction for an appreciation event and back-to-school drive where teams that donated supplies enjoyed lunch, snow cones, and a dunk tank!

Our PCI Cincinnati team spent the day at the University of Cincinnati's baseball field for the Construction Student Association's local softball event.

The PCI Los Angeles teams joined together for a friendly kickball match, spending the day building relationships with each other and local vendor sponsors.

PCI Indianapolis partnered with Pepper Construction Group to volunteer with the Indiana Urban League's Drive-Thru Food and Meal Distribution, teaming up to deliver more than 500 meals to families in the community.

Great leadership is earned through experience and practice. And we help our team and project leaders enhance their skills throughout their careers.

Last week, a handful of team leaders from PCI locations around the nation joined us for the Dale Carnegie Course, a leadership training program designed to empower attendees to move beyond their comfort zone and stretch their abilities as leaders. Attendees learned better ways to enhance relationships, motivate their teams, and communicate more clearly and effectively.

Investing in our people is a priority. No matter their role, we empower our teams and elevate their skills. 🏔️

Last week, nearly 80 employees celebrated their one-year milestone with PCI by attending TREK, while more than 20 team members participated in our Advanced Project Management (APM) training program.

At TREK, participants explored future career opportunities, connected with colleagues, and gained valuable insight into what it means to grow at PCI. As one attendee shared:

"The insights that we talked about can be applied immediately in my day to day. Trek gave me a fresh perspective on who PCI is and helped me with my own journey."

Meanwhile, APM attendees sharpened their project management skills and learned new strategies to drive successful project outcomes. One participant reflected on the impact of the training, saying:

"I think APM training was the most beneficial training I've received and I will be taking a lot of this back to my job sites and team."

We are grateful to all the attendees and facilitators who made these programs a success! Thank you for helping strengthen the future of PCI. 🙌

Right now the third-largest tennis event in the U.S. is underway, The Cincinnati Open, being held at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason, Ohio. This tournament features top pros from around the world, a crowd of 285,000+ visitors, and a recently upgraded facility that was brought to life with help from the PCI team.

The facility also got attention recently from our partners Saint-Gobain North America when they named the tennis center one of the 2026 U.S. Regional Winners of the CertainTeed Gypsum Trophy Awards. Working with GC Barton Malow, PCI helped install 120+ prefabricated panels, cold-formed metal framing and sheathing, and a variety of acoustic ceiling and drywall scopes for the new two-story Players’ Clubhouse and the golf pro shop serving the nearby Grizzly Golf Course designed by Jack Nicklaus.

Quality is something we all build together: one decision, one conversation, and one project at a time.

Last week our team celebrated Quality Week, setting aside time every day of the week to celebrate quality wins, best practices, and the people behind them. We highlighted successes from Nashville to Portland, San Diego to Dallas, sharing the stories behind our passion for quality, and delivered toolbox talks and videos to our teams encouraging the importance of doing it right the first time.

Whether we're working on prefabricated exterior panels or installing door frames onsite, our teams take pride in establishing ongoing quality checks across all scopes, planning our work, assigning responsibility, communicating expectations, and documenting results. And Quality Week showed us that when we work together on these plans, it shows up in the end result.

Thank you to all our crews and the Quality Department for taking the time to focus on this important core value, and finding new ways to celebrate the excellence of our work. 💪👷

➡️ PCI Austin hosted the Southern Regional Council of Carpenters for the "Interior Systems Combine," an event for individuals exploring a career in the trades through hands-on skill demos and opportunities to connect with employers.

➡️ Members of the PCI Cincinnati team lent their expertise to the Rosie's Girls Open House hosted by Cincinnati ToolBank. Rosie's Girls is a program that gives girls ages 13-16 the chance to explore the skilled trades through hands-on learning.

➡️ Several PCI teams work with local carpenter unions throughout the year to help train apprentices, including our work with Local 175 Carpenter Union in Louisville where PCI led a two-day, hands-on training focused on acoustical ceiling installation.
