At Moore Farms & Southern Acres, we’re proud to be a diverse, family-run operation. From growing crops to producing quality feed, from long days in the fields to late nights in the office — it takes all of us. Different ages. Different strengths. One shared purpose.
Multigenerational farms like ours are fading out across this country. Land gets sold. Traditions get lost. Knowledge that was once passed down from grandparents to grandchildren slowly disappears. And with it goes a way of life built on hard work, faith, grit, and family.
Keeping farms like ours going isn’t just about agriculture — it’s about legacy. It’s about teaching our children the value of honest work. It’s about stewarding the land so it’s better tomorrow than it is today. It’s about community, local food, and supporting small businesses that pour everything they have back into the place they call home.
We don’t take that responsibility lightly.
