This client wanted a little more room around their pool and a freshened-up backyard. We expanded the patio to create additional space for relaxing and entertaining, refreshed the existing landscape beds with new mulch and cleanup work, and installed new sod to tie everything together.

This landscape had seen better days, so it was time for a fresh start. 🌿

We removed the overgrown, outdated plantings and completely redesigned the space with a mix of texture, color, and year-round interest. The new landscape features Boxwoods, Carex, Creeping Jenny, Oakleaf Hydrangeas, Coneflowers, Indian Hawthornes, and Deutzias, all tied together with a lush new sod lawn.

The difference is incredible. What was once a tired and aging landscape is now a clean, welcoming outdoor space that will continue to grow more beautiful each season.

From a blank slate to a completely transformed backyard! 🌿

This project included raising the grade with a new retaining wall system, installing a cost-effective hog wire fence, extensive grading, fresh sod, new landscape plantings, and a beautiful natural fieldstone wall to tie it all together.

The result is a functional, usable outdoor space with improved drainage, added privacy, and plenty of curb appeal. Every element was designed to work together to create a backyard that looks great today and will continue to mature and improve for years to come.

We recently rushed a critical area planting project to help a client meet their inspection deadline. Because we carry a large selection of nursery stock in-house at Hurley Nursery, we were able to source the required plants immediately and complete the installation with a quick turnaround.

Having quality plant material readily available allows us to move fast when timing matters most — especially for projects tied to permits, inspections, and critical area compliance.

Full color flagstone is officially down and it’s looking 🔥

Next step is mortaring the joints to lock everything in and give it that clean, finished look.
