With the new year here and gone, we are beginning to plan and get ready for the 2026 work season starting in the spring. We are looking forward to a very busy year, and with that, having the right personnel for the job is key. We are taking applications for the following positions-
Utility Forman- leads a crew of 2-5 employees. Able to plan, coordinate, and perform installation of pipe, water services, and related services. Cdl is required. Should have knowledge of operating excavators, skidsteers, etc. Directional Drill experience is a plus.
Excavation Operator- experience in excavators, skidsteers, directional drills, dozer, backhoe, etc. this is not digging at the farm, you must able to efficiently dig around live utilities such as gas, fiber, power. Cdl is a big plus.
Excavation Laborer(s)- knowledge of excavation methods, utility placement, and general labor experience. This is A physical based job; shovelling, pipe connections, etc. We are not looking for a laborer who just wants to be in equipment. Cdl is a big plus.
Mechanic- proficient in maintenance and repairs of machinery. Includes pickup trucks, small engines, heavy equipment, etc.
A small rundown of our company- we are a multi-faceted excavating and utility contractor. Our primary focus and business Is the replacement and installation of water services and mains, generally by methods such as directional drilling and open cut, but others are occasionally used. We also do large scale excavation such as minor road building, ponds, driveways, and sitework. We are based out of Leroy, Mi.
All positions pay based on experience. All positions require a minimum of a valid drivers license, chauffers endorsement, and valid medical certificate. We are willing to help with those last 2 items if needed. We offer medical insurance as well as options for dental and vision.
