Safety first! 🚧

A recent customer was left with a dangerous hole in their driveway following a waterline repair. Our team acted fast to get on-site, eliminate the hazard, and get their driveway back to a finished grade.

We didn't just dump stone in the hole, either. We backfilled with 2A modified and used a plate compactor every foot of the way to ensure there won't be any settling or "sinkholes" down the road. 🚜💨

Another failed block wall that needed some expert attention! 🚜🧱

We started by excavating the failing wall and clearing out the old, saturated backfill material. Once we reached the footer, Baker Masonry stepped in and did an incredible job efficiently laying up a brand-new wall.

After giving the masonry a day to set up, we returned to do the backfill the right way: using clean 2B stone for maximum drainage and capping it off with high-quality topsoil for a clean finish.

Nothing beats seeing a structural issue get solved correctly from the ground up!

Big dig for a major repair! 🚜🏗️

We opened up this failing foundation so a local mason could get to work securing the wall. We didn't cut corners—we exported 85% of the material to make space for clean stone backfill, the best way to permanently relieve pressure on the new wall.

Shout-out to E. A. Baum Trucking LLC for being ready on a day and a half's notice! They were efficient as always, and we truly value the chance to partner with other local pros to help out our community.

After the wall was secured and a new egress window was installed, we finished up the backfill and site cleanup. Swipe for photos! 📸

Got to help out Baker Masonry by digging a foundation for new dugouts at one of Camp Hill School District’s softball fields. After the footer was poured and the block laid up to ground level, we came back to backfill and set the stone grade for concrete. Always happy to help improve the facilities for the next generation!

Wrapped up a busy end to summer—helping out other contractors, fixing breakdowns, and finishing our own projects. Grateful for this journey and all the support along the way!

Our latest project involved restoring an old logging road to give the landowner easy access to the mountain. We teamed up with Shawn Crumling to ensure the right equipment was on-site to get the job done efficiently. Shale was the best option to resurface the 800-foot roadway and cover the camper pad we built at the top, after stripping the small amount of topsoil that was there. Huge thanks to E. A. Baum Trucking LLC for delivering the material efficiently—and on short notice!

This retaining wall needed to be backfilled, and the area above was finished with screened topsoil and seeded for a new lawn. Working right next to the creek made for a great day on the job. Another happy customer!
