The 2026 exterior painting season is officially underway! Monday, we kicked things off & today we wrapped up job number ONE! 👏🏼

We finished our interior season strong last week at the Lewiston Fire Department and so far, exterior season is right on schedule!

And if you’ve spotted Ellie taking a quick lunch break in the back of the Cutting Edge truck lately… your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you 👀 It’s true — she’s back this season helping round out the father/daughter duo team again!

From prep work to the final coat, we take pride in doing the job RIGHT. Clean lines, meticulous prep & attention to detail are what keep our customers calling us back year after year.

We only have a FEW exterior painting spots left on the schedule, so if your home, camp, porch or outdoor space needs freshening up, now’s the time to reach out before the season fills completely!

There is such a huge difference between simply painting a piece of furniture… and properly refinishing it with care and attention to detail ✨🖌️

This beautiful hutch was once a dated wood-tone piece, but with the right vision and a lot of careful work, it has been completely transformed into a rich deep teal statement piece that feels fresh, timeless, and ready for a whole new life.

At Cutting Edge Painting, attention to detail is everything. Hardware is always removed before painting so nothing gets oversprayed, surfaces are properly prepped, finishes are applied carefully for durability, and each piece is reassembled with intention — right down to adding beautiful updated hardware that complements the finished look.

This piece features so many beautiful details: an arched top, arched glass doors, glass on three sides, mirrored back, built-in light, and a spacious drawer at the bottom. Pieces like this deserve to be refinished the right way, not rushed.

We love taking older furniture made from real wood and giving it a completely fresh look while preserving the craftsmanship that made it worth saving in the first place 🪑✨
