A Special Announcement from Lewisville Plumbing Pros

This week, our family welcomed a healthy baby girl into the world! ❤️

Because of this exciting new addition, I will be taking some time this week to be with my family and enjoy these precious first moments together.

Our customers who are already scheduled will still be taken care of by our team, but we will not be scheduling any new jobs this week as I spend time with my growing family.

We appreciate everyone's patience, support, and understanding during this special time. Thank you for supporting a local family-owned business, and we look forward to serving you again soon.

New water service installation was completed this week.

We hand-dug the trench due to existing underground utilities, installed a new water service line, main shut-off valve, and PRV, then passed inspection with Forsyth County before backfilling and restoring the yard.

Two-day turnaround from start to finish, and we left the property looking almost like we were never there.

We even had a special guest on site helping with the digging—my son. Spending time teaching him the value of hard work is one of the best parts of owning my own business. ❤️

This kitchen sink drain had been “working” for 20 years… but after a new sink and countertops were installed, the old setup finally got exposed. 😅

The homeowner called, saying he just needed a little help after hooking the drains up himself and thinking it should work fine. Technically, yes — water would eventually drain. The issue was the drain coming out of the wall was almost as high as the bottom of the sink, causing water to constantly sit in the piping above the trap.

That’s not how drainage is supposed to work.

It took some convincing, but we rerouted the drain from below the cabinet, installed a new drain with a Studor vent, capped the old drain in the wall, and avoided cutting into the back of the cabinet.

Main valve and PRV replaced today. We carefully completed the work while keeping the existing access panel intact instead of opening more drywall.

Clean, calculated work matters. That’s why you call the pros. 💧🔧

High water pressure can quietly destroy a plumbing system over time. This home was reading 168+ PSI before we replaced the PRV and main shut-off valve. After installation and adjustment, we brought it down to a safe 60 PSI.

Quick, clean repair using ProPress with the right prep work beforehand. Proper pressure protects fixtures, water heaters, supply lines, and appliances from unnecessary wear and leaks.

At Lewisville Plumbing Pros LLC, we focus on doing the job correctly, cleanly, and up to code.

Another one fixed the right way. The old expansion tank was barely hanging on with a loose strap and even a bungee cord. We installed a proper expansion tank bracket and moved the shut off valve so it isolates both the water heater and expansion tank correctly.
These details matter. A waterlogged expansion tank gets heavy fast, and proper support and valve placement help keep the system safe and serviceable.

Today’s job was a simple gas line installation for a furnace. We ran new black iron piping on the exterior, painted to protect it and keep a clean appearance, and tied into the existing copper gas line at the furnace.

Luckily, the existing regulator setup was already installed correctly and met current code requirements, which allowed us to leave it in place and save the customer money instead of replacing parts unnecessarily.

The city inspector will be out tomorrow for final inspection. We take pride in doing clean, code-compliant work and being transparent with our customers throughout the process.

We’re always open to constructive criticism on our work — there’s always something to learn in this trade, and continuing to improve is important to us at Lewisville Plumbing Pros LLC

Being a plumber means witnessing things most people never will… like the Browns leaving the Super Bowl in real time. 💩
