It's costs more labor to get subpar materials to have that perfect look than you save in purchasing the cheaper product. You save quite a bit in labor when your contractor doesn't have to fight your flooring or cabinets the whole time...Food for thought is that 500 off your cabinets really worth it. Is the .12 a square foot worth saving if your floor cracks apart months later....You Installer can only do as good a job as the product he is given to work with. Some people hand you rice and expect Musutake Mushrooms and Wagu Beef in return. Some of us can pull it off but but I promise If you'd have began with the Wagu it would show and it greatly reduces installation time as well as labor costs. A customer actually explained it too ME this way. I felt I had to share, it's refreshing.
