Today was a good day for the Blue Sky Electric family!

We spent the afternoon at our annual company picnic enjoying some seriously good food—fish, frog legs, brisket and all the sides—along with plenty of laughs, great company and some pretty awesome giveaways, including LOTS of tools, TVs and a couple of trips!

Was it hot? Absolutely (thank God for the 6 Big Ass fans we had). 😂 But that didn’t stop us from having a great time!

We are incredibly thankful for the hardworking team who make up Blue Sky Electric. The dedication, long hours and commitment they give throughout the year do not go unnoticed.

And just as importantly, we want to thank their families. We know those long days and busy schedules require sacrifices at home, too. Your support is a huge part of our success.

We’re grateful that once a year we get to slow down, gather together, eat some great food, have some fun and show our appreciation for the people—and families—behind Blue Sky Electric.

To all of our employees and their families: THANK YOU. We appreciate you more than you know! 💙

Seems Jason isn’t the only one on our crew who has found a new favorite lunch spot in Danville—Melton’s! We’ve heard from some of the other guys, too, and they agree this is the place to go!

I think the office crew may need to take a field trip to see what all the fuss is about! 😉

The gang at Meltons are celebrating this guy. Jason, he has been in town working on the remodeling at Bate middle school. He found us his first day working in Danville and decided to do the “Melton’s challenge” (invented special for him). He came here every day while he was in town and ordered a a different sandwich working through our menu of specialty sandwiches and a few additional ones. When questioned which he liked the best he chose the TBS but said they were all great. Today was his last day working in Danville for a while. We are going to miss him and look forward to when he returns. THANKS JASON for becoming a loyal customer!

🏌️⚡ The Blue Sky Electric team had a great time at the IEC of the Bluegrass Golf Tournament this past Friday!

Best dressed? We think so!
Most electrical-themed shirts? Definitely.
4th place finish? We'll take it.

The guys put together a solid round and finished 4th overall, proving they're a little more accurate with conduit than they are with a driver.
