SOUNDS EASIER TO HIRE ONE GUY, RIGHT?!? 🤔

One guy to handle your flooring, painting, plumbing, and everything else?

Sounds convenient… until something goes wrong! 😬

At Rays Flooring, we believe in hiring specialists who know their trade.

🔨 A jack of all trades isn’t always a master of one.

When it comes to your investment property, getting it done right the first time saves time AND money!

👇 Would you hire one handyman for everything or separate contractors?

Let’s talk about the stair-step pattern. 👀

When installing LVP, plank layout and staggering can make a big difference in how the finished floor looks.

Robert explains how we lay out our boards to avoid an obvious stair-step pattern and give the floor a more natural, random appearance.

DID YOU KNOW YOUR FLOORING HAS A PATENT?!? 🤯

That clicking system that locks your LVP planks together? It’s more complicated than you think!

🔒 Many LVP manufacturers pay licensing fees to use patented locking technology.

💰 And those fees are built into the cost of your flooring!

It’s one of those things most homeowners never think about, but it’s a big part of what makes modern LVP work.

At Rays Flooring, we love showing you what’s behind the products we sell!

Want new floors but dreading the thought of moving all that furniture? 😩

Good news — you don’t have to empty your entire house before we show up.

Ever wonder how you finish LVP around a fireplace? 👀

This is one of those details that can make or break the finished look.

Robert shows exactly how we handle the last row around a fireplace so you get a clean, professional finish — without ugly gaps or a sloppy transition.

It’s the little details that separate a flooring install from a good flooring install. 👊

Save this one if you’re installing LVP yourself.

From police officer to real estate investor. 👮‍♂️➡️🏠

I sold him his first investment property years ago, and it’s been pretty awesome watching what he’s built since then.

Today, we still get to work together — helping fund his deals and handling the flooring as he continues buying and renovating properties.

This is one of my favorite parts of this business: building long-term relationships and watching people succeed.

Keep going, brother. 👊

The beauty of site-finished hardwood is unmatched—you just have to know how to care for it. 🪵✨

There’s nothing quite like authentic, site-finished hardwood. It adds timeless elegance, warmth, and long-term value to your home that synthetic materials simply try to copy.

Because real wood is a natural product, it ages and lives with your home.

While high-performance LVP is built for maximum scratch resistance in heavy-traffic zones, site-finished hardwood offers unmatched rich detail, depth, and the ability to be refinished for generations.

It’s not about which option is “better”—it’s about choosing the right fit for your home’s aesthetic and your daily lifestyle.
