We at DNJ Electrical have been absent from social however to justify we have been extremely busy behind the scenes working with our partners and community. We also have a great variety of different technicians who proudly represent DNJ’s core values and long term goals as being the preferred electrical company for the industry, we are excited to showcase the projects we have accomplished and those that are still in the works! Here is a project we performed last summer that we have been wanting to share with you all ! This project had so many gears and departments involved hence it being one of the most enjoyable projects to do, when making a decision on who to call for your electrical needs be assured that we will deliver for you !💡🙂

Project details: Customer had (3) separate metering systems each with their own billing cycle that she wanted to combine together to have (1) invoice from KU as well as combining her newly installed solar grid to the main power distribution system for her long term benefits. In order to perform this the transformer had to go from company owned to client owned and in order to achieve this all underground feeders and electrical systems must transition from the code guidelines Kentucky utilities follow and transition to our NEC code guidelines we follow.

Due to the transition we had to replace all (3) underground feeders to all (3) separate building structures due to wiring not being code compliant for the applicable systems as well as replace all metering systems with disconnecting means and installing a CT metering system next to the transformer so that all (3) systems can be combined and monitored inside the existing transformer.

Client also requested for her newly constructed workshop to be ran inside EMT and as requested we did as followed !
