**How to Make Your Wood Fence Last Longer**

A wood fence can last a long time, but only if it’s taken care of.

Here are a few simple things homeowners should watch for:

✅ Keep dirt, leaves, and mulch from piling up against the bottom of the fence
✅ Look for loose pickets, leaning posts, or rusty nails/screws
✅ Trim bushes and vines back so they aren’t holding moisture against the wood
✅ Check gates often — sagging gates usually get worse over time
✅ Consider staining or sealing your fence to help protect it from sun, rain, and moisture

Small problems are usually cheaper to fix early than waiting until sections start falling apart.

This backyard had a pretty serious slope, but that didn’t stop us from giving it a clean new look with a privacy vinyl fence.

We removed the old wood fence and installed a new vinyl privacy fence that follows the grade of the yard while still keeping everything looking sharp, solid, and finished.

A sloped yard can make a fence project more challenging, but the right layout and installation make all the difference.

Just wrapped up this shadow box privacy fence, and it turned out great!

This style gives the backyard a clean, finished look while still providing privacy, airflow, and a nice appearance from both sides of the fence. It made a huge difference around this pool area and really helped complete the space.
