Spotted Lantern Fly nymph observed along i81 in Lexington, VA. Saw this during my trip to PA 2 weeks ago. These were imported into a quarry outside of Reading, PA from Asia approximately 12 years ago! Very invasive/destructive species that feed on the sap of many plants and trees.

Walked into this beautiful old barn that was being completely remodeled into a guest house on a customer’s property.

The contractors had seen an occasional ant, the customer wanted the building protected.

When I walked in, I spent 10 minutes in this room inspecting for ants before I finally found a single carpenter ant walking on the wooden beam above my head.

Within 10 minutes of performing a proper treatment to the old wooden beam, I almost couldn’t believe my eyes… so I took this video.
