In honor of Labor Day, Granite Concrete will be closed Monday, September 7th. We're grateful for the hardworking folks who keep Lincoln County growing, and we hope you get some well-deserved rest too. Normal hours resume Tuesday, September 8th.

It's Hot August Showdown weekend! Granite Concrete is proud to sponsor the 14th Annual event hosted by Kootenai RC Racers at Cabinet Mountain RC Raceway.

What started small has grown into one of Montana's biggest weekends of RC racing, drawing drivers, from newbies to pros, from all over the region for three days of competition. Fourteen years in, it's amazing to see how far this event has come, and we're proud to have been part of that journey.

It's one of the best-kept secrets in local racing, and the Kootenai RC Racers team keeps growing it each year, making every new version better than the last.

Racing kicks off with practice at 9 AM today, and sign-ups continue through Saturday morning.

We love being part of an event that brings this much energy to our community. Good luck to all the racers, and safe travels to everyone making the trip in!

The 14th Annual Hot August Showdown is finally here, and we can’t wait to see everyone at Cabinet Mountain RC Raceway this weekend!

We’ll be doing sign-ups all day Friday and early Saturday morning. Once we have a good idea of the total number of entries, we’ll finalize and post the race schedule.

🏁 KRCR Crew – The Hot August Showdown Is This Weekend! 🏁

The wait is almost over! The Hot August Showdown is happening Friday, July 31 through Sunday, August 2, and we can’t wait to welcome racers from near and far to the Cabinet Mountain RC Raceway!

We’ll be posting the official race schedule in the next few days, so keep an eye on our page.

Registration will be open from Friday morning through Saturday morning, so be sure to get signed up early and get ready for an awesome weekend of racing.

We're growing and we're hiring. Granite Concrete is looking for motivated, reliable people to join our team across several roles:

Batch Plant Operator
Run our concrete batch plant, manage production schedules, take customer orders, and coordinate with drivers to ensure on-time deliveries.

CDL Driver
Operate ready mix trucks, end dumps, and other specialty units in support of our concrete and materials delivery operations.

Dispatch & Logistics Coordinator
Manage daily scheduling and delivery coordination across our concrete and aggregate operations, serving as the central link between customers, drivers, plant personnel, and management.

Equipment Operator
Run excavators, loaders, dozers, graders, and more across a range of heavy civil construction environments.

Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Keep our heavy equipment and diesel fleet running through diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance.

Laborer
Support field operations on construction projects. No prior experience required -- just a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Superintendent
Plan and lead field operations on heavy civil construction projects, directing crews and managing daily site-level work.
