We did a pheasant and chucker hunt this morning and it was a blast! I could watch that bird dog all day, was so neat seeing her work.

We had a fun morning! 7 pheasant and 7 chuckers were harvested ☺️

I literally always hated those vacuum commercials where they were sucking up a ridiculous amount of cereal off the floor. Like come on who's spilling that much cereal on the floor to need a vacuum to do that! 🀣 Well then I became a mom and now I know! πŸ˜…

14 pints of breakfast in a jar! πŸ˜€ Im excited to try these and see how they taste! These are considered rebel canning however if you want to try it out here are the steps!

1. Clean your jars!
2.Wash and dice your potatoes. You can also add onions, peppers if you wish. I just did potatoes.
3. Cook your sausage half way. It will finish cooking in the canner and cooking half way helps it not lump together in the jar.
4. Pack your jars with potatoes and sausage.
5. Scramble eggs add any season you would like and pour into jar. I did 3 eggs per jar because I had a bunch of eggs to use up.
6. Wipe your rims add your lids and rings
7. Water bath for 3 hrs.....Or follow your pressure canning time for meat and potatoes.

You could also do this with ham instead of sausage you just wouldn't cook the ham first.

An empty jar/jars hate to see me coming πŸ˜‚ I think FOMO got the best of me on this one!

So on today's episode of WTF did i stuff in a jar and can today...I give you breakfast in a jar! I chopped up potatoes...partially cooked my sausage (it will finish cooking in the canner) and then scrambled some eggs up and poured those in! I have them in the water bath for 3hrs, will show the finished goods when done ☺️

With deer r***e season upon us soon these will be the perfect snack to take to the stand and warm up on the heater. πŸ˜‚

Also reminder an empty jar takes up as much space as a full jar! Leave no jar empty πŸ˜πŸ˜‚
