BEWARE!!!!! Of who you hire to both build and service your pools! This pool is only 2 or 3 years old. Won't mention name of the company that did this to a new pool, but the ring that is inside the pool is supposed to be on the backside of the wall. They had no clue what they were doing and decided to use spray foam, caulking and epoxy putty around this brand new pool and light to get it to hold water long enough to get paid and get out of there. People that do work like this should not be able to keep doing stuff like this. This is one of many many that we have both heard about and fixed. The cheaper quote isnt so cheap when you have to pay someone else to come fix all the problems. Pools are expensive and you get what you pay for. Please, anyone that wants a new pool, do your research and look into a companies work and work ethics before you give them your hard earned money. There are several pool companies in the area, and not all are the same. Id say look into Google reviews, but even those arent always reliable. I know personally that at least one has found a way to remove bad reviews from their Google page. I don't mean to or have to brag about ourselves, there isnt one customer out there that we have built a pool for that has anything bad to say about us. We work on one new pool at a time and do everything we can to make sure we are giving the best product with what we have to work with. We arent perfect by any means, we make mistakes too, we are human. BUT, when and if we make a mistake, we take the proper steps to fix things the right way. Leaving someone with something like in the pictures is absolutely insane to me. Dont understand how people can be so careless. Please choose your contractors carefully, in any feild.....not just inground swimming pools. Honesty, integrity and good workmanship are not found in every business!
