We finally have round white 3/4" pebbles at a reasonable price. Only $75.00 per cubic yard. Not a bad price when you compare it to tan river gravel at $105.00 per yard.

Come by and check out the white rock and all the products on display at PC Mulch, Hwy.150 in downtown Pumpkin Center.

We were working on the new signage for Relay for Life and thought this would be a good time to remind everyone that Relay is only a month away. Lincolnton Relay will be at a new location this year ( Lincolnton Middle School ) and will feature lots more to do and see. Big Fireworks show around 10 PM and all night movies on the big screen. New location features plenty of parking, room for RV's and Campers as well as plenty of rides for the kids.

Make plans now to attend on of Lincolnton's great events and be prepared to have fun.

Yesterday was work in the yard day and we were surprised at the amount of business we had. It took our entire crew to keep up with orders but we managed even with some equipment problems. PC Mulch wants to thank all those who used our services and material to start their spring spruce up.

Need delivery, we can do it with 2 different size trucks. Need installation, we can do it with our installation crew. We design, we can do it with our Landscape / Nursery Man.

Got questions, call us, maybe we can help. Answers are free.....

How to be a SMART Mulch Buyer!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Never , Ever buy mulch by the scoop unless you know what size the scoop is. Scoops come in all sizes with the most common being 1/3, 1/2. & 3/4 yards. If you buy mulch at $15.00 a scoop verses $20.00 a cubic yard then 1 cubic yard can cost $45.00, $30.00 or $24.00.

A cubic yard is 3' X 3' X 3' and covers about 80 sq ft. 4 " thick. A typical full size pickup will hold about 2 yards of mulch. Landscape yards that use tractors or skidsteers to load your truck will usually have a 1/2yd scoop or bucket. Always ask as to the size of the bucket and when shopping prices you can compare apples to apples.

Double Ground Hardwood Mulch is the best choice in this area and Red Oak Mulch is even better. Both are very stable and good at blocking w**d growth. Red Oak Mulch mats much tighter and has an appeasing color.

Double Ground Pine Bark has very little wood product in it and is high in acid content. Great for blueberry bushes and other shrubs.

Dyed Mulches (red, brown, black) are made from solid wood with no fines. Great decorating mulch and will add color to the yard. Works well to block w**d growth when applied 6" or greater in depth.

Treated Mulch.........big bunch of crap.......don't pay more for this hoax. Get some bug killer and spray your flower bed before you mulch and you have treated it.

Hope this helps everyone be a smarter mulch buyer this spring. Even if you don't buy your mulch from us, give us a call if you have any questions on landscape products. 704-735-3859

Relay for Life will soon hit Lincoln County and PC Mulch is proud to be a supporter of this great event. Our families have been hit hard, over the years, by cancer and we want to see it gone before Braylon is grown. Help your friends and neighbors by supporting Realy for Life and attending the event on May 10 &11. We will be there and hope to see all our friends there also. New place this year (Lincolnton Middle) and big fireworks show. Bring your tents, campers or motor homes and spend the night. We bet you will have a good time.
