A crossing guard stopped the car in front of me instantly. She slammed on her breaks and so did I. The four bunks of wood on the trailer slid forward and hit the scaffolding rack whichever stopped it from sliding into the back of the truck. Unfortunately the weight on the trailer tongue snapped my trailer hitch. Lucky my brother was at the warehouse with the freightliner and he threw the forklift on the truck and came and rescued me. Well he actually just switched trucks and left. Charlie and I took it from there.
