After/Before/During pics of an accessibility remodel for a 100% disabled veteran ♿️

We improved accessibility & livability to this home, 1️⃣replacing an decaying front porch with a new covered porch entry for safe and convenient wheelchair access,
2️⃣a new concrete driveway + parking pad for seamless paved access to the porch ramp,
3️⃣replaced an aging septic system with a new aerobic septic system,
4️⃣Added a 500gal liquid propane tank, as well as an LP powered 26kw Generac whole home generator to ensure access to power during outages.

This project was funded by a VA housing grant, intended to remodel disabled veterans’ homes.
As general contractors, we assist with the grant application & approval process,
Design the home to make it both accessible and comfortable for the veteran’s unique needs,
then facilitate and oversee the construction.

After/Before/During pics of an ADA bathroom remodel for a 100% disabled veteran ♿️

We took two small bathrooms in this mobile home and turned them into one spacious bathroom with enough room to meet all ADA and VA accessibility requirements.

Some of the many features include
1️⃣ Schluter Kerdi backed 4’x6’ roll-in shower with open shower plan, folding bench, grab bars, detachable shower heads.
2️⃣Replaced flooring with attractive large form slip resistant tile,
coupled with Schluter Kerdi Ditra sublayer as a high quality waterproofing membrane to ensure longevity.
3️⃣New roll-under vanity customized for wheelchair access, new mirror and lighting
4️⃣Upgraded raised toilet with no slam lid, grab bars, new wall hung cabinet
5️⃣Replaced front wall & two small doors with 36” centered door for easy wheelchair access.

After/Before/During pics of an ADA bathroom remodel for a wheelchair bound veteran ♿️
Some of the many features include
1️⃣ Schluter Kerdi 4’x5’ roll-in shower with frameless heavy glass door, folding bench, grab bars, detachable shower heads, and featuring natural stone tile
2️⃣ New roll-under vanity space with quartz vanity top, new custom window install, oversized 5’x5’ custom mirror, x6 bulb vanity light (lots of light!)
3️⃣ Upgraded raised toilet with no slam lid, grab bars, two new wall hung cabinets
4️⃣ Oversized walk-in closet with custom built shelving, sliding rail-mounted “library” ladder, and wall mirror
5️⃣New 40” barn door for entry, new heater/fan/light combo, additional recessed lighting, moved breaker box from interior to exterior mounted location.
6️⃣ Upgraded water heater from electric tank heaters to propane tankless high-flow heater, with LP tanks and privacy fence enclosure included.
