In light of the impending storm damage from Florence, we will be on standby and ready to help wherever we can. I understand that there are many services offered by local businesses, not limited to repair or recovery, but also carpentry and other necessary things after such a massive event. We are small and cannot help everyone as quickly as things may happen, but it is my hope and my prerogative that the community is able to come together after the fact and pick up the pieces, fix what is broken, and move forward with time. But if a dump here, but these have been waiting a while. The first one, a 1998 Toyota Corolla, started as an engine overhaul, but as we went on, it became an engine replacement, and then engine swap, then it turned into an engine management switch, and finally an air filter box had to be tracked down. Car runs great now, but the headache caused by one impatient guy at a machine shop was a lot to deal with. Time constraints prevented us from having the shop handle it. Either way, everyone is satisfied with the end result. Also, stopped by today and pulled the fender dent out.

The second car here is a newer Corolla, a 2010. All this one got was outer tie rod ends and a toe adjustment. So far, so good.

Definitely little stuff in the future for both of these, and we’ve got more work in line, as well as some stuff to catch up on. Thanks, guys!

This is the year of the water pumps! 3 I've been called for within the last 3 weeks. All of them with no heat and overheating engine. If your heat starts to fade, call someone! You don't want to be stuck in this cold with a hot motor and a stuck car!

Finally bidding this old girl goodbye. Customer brought her in with a locked motor and a twin with a bad transmission. After every possible little thing going wrong, she finally got straightened out. Ol' girl got an engine swap, new clutch and hardware, clutch slave cylinder, distributor, distributor cap and rotor, throttle body, spark plugs, brake rotors and pads, front wheel bearings, exhaust manifold gaskets, and let's not forget the all-important oil change!
