Winter sure seems to be rudely pushing Fall out of the way. I know those of you with mini splits, have been keeping the filter screens to your indoor units clean. Even so, things get through them, for example, grease, dust, dirt, smoke, etc. The smallest amount of "film" on your fins and coil act as an insulator and will significantly decrease the efficiency of your unit. The outdoor unit may look clean, but it also has pollen, dust, mold, pitch, etc. deep in the fins where they contact the coil and may not be seen even. It is a fact that a split system not cleaned, will have a minimum 30% reduction in system capacity and if that's not enough, will contribute to the system failing an average of 7.5 years prematurely. I highly recommend you get them professionally cleaned now before the real cold weather shows up so that you don't waste any more money trying to heat with a compromised system. We do a thorough cleaning of the fins, coil, fan, condensate pan and shroud.
With the incredible amount of heat pump mini split systems that have been installed the past 10-15 years, heat pump cleaning has become a new trade in itself. It's bad enough to see what the top royal Maine dog worlds are charging people for an install, but their service plan makes me sick. There are also new characters showing up just offering cleanings as well. We know this because we get calls to go clean what they didn't remotely touch after charging astronomical prices. If you want a professional cleaning with fair and reasonable pricing, drop us a message. There is no contract, upselling, brand loyalty or any other ridiculous scam. It's a very simple procedure. You have a dirty coil, we clean it.
Happy Thanksgiving to you all!!
