Before and after. No raking, blowing or hauling anything to the curb. I blow around the edges and mulch it right into the lawn. Saves my clients money. Mulching is very beneficial to your lawn. It provides nutrients and feeds your lawn over the winter. I cut one last time to make sure the grass is low enough. I still have some openings so email me at [email protected] for a free estimate.

Reminder: Please Keep Leaves Away from Storm Drains 🍂

Weather forecasts are predicting rain accumulation beginning Sunday through Wednesday. 🌧

❌ As a reminder, please keep from raking or blowing leaf piles into the street where they could potentially clog storm drains.

✅ To prevent flooding, if you currently have leaves in the street by your residence, please relocate them to the right-of-way, generally between the sidewalk and the curb.

Thank you for understanding and helping to minimize flood risks. 👍

With this extreme heat and lack of rain, we will be skipping some properties this week and all of next week. It's not smart to cut grass in the heat of the day and of course there is no need to even cut if it doesn't need it. Cutting when the ground is hot will ruin your lawn. We respect our customers and put quality before profit.

Just what we need, more rain. 😉 Looks like I’m shut down for the rest of the week unless the forecast changes. I will not damage my customers lawns by mowing when the ground is wet.

Enjoy your long holiday weekend and remember what Memorial Day is really for.

This rain is really slowing us down, but the cooler weather is keeping the grass from growing too much. Due to how saturated the lawns are and with more rain in the forecast, I won’t be cutting this week. I do not want to ruin my customers lawns. Next week looks promising and it looks like the real spring weather will finally be here.

Clearing your Yard? Branch Collection Starts Week of April 25, 2022

The Village’s Branch Collection Program, starting the last week of April, provides a convenient option for the disposal of landscape branches. Under the program, bundled branches that have been trimmed by homeowners or have fallen due to weather conditions, will be collected. All bundled branch piles need to be placed in the parkway by 7:00 a.m. on the Monday of your scheduled collection week. Please note that crews will not go back down a street for branches that are placed out late, and that whole trees or shrubs will not be collected.

General program guidelines for preparing bundles for pick up and a collection map that is updated daily can be viewed on the Village’s branch collection webpage https://bit.ly/3N8XILR. Please contact the Village of Lisle’s Public Works Department at (630) 271-4180 for further information. The program rotates collection regions every season. Pickups are scheduled according to three regions (defined below) and the order in which the regions are picked up changes each season.

North (North of Burlington Northern Train Tracks) - April 25
Center (Between the BNSF Train Tracks and Maple Avenue) - May 2
South (South of Maple Avenue) - May 9

All single-family homes located within Lisle’s corporate limits are eligible for the program.
