Flattered that Doug thinks my work is photoshopped, but I assure you it’s not. I meticulously hand paint each and every address plaque number. Over a thousand plaques painted, so I’ve had plenty of experience to perfect my skills.

I admit when I started painting numbers nearly 6 years ago, I was very ignorant about how many different types of address plaques there were on homes here in the metroplex.

You see in the beginning I would just ask the homeowner how many numbers and give a quote. It wasn’t until I showed up to paint that I realized how many different styles there are and how vastly different in terms of time it takes to paint them (30 minutes to 2 hours). Sometimes the plaques were so faded the homeowners didn’t even realized they had the street name or a design included on the plaque. This was also a shock to me because at that point my quote to paint “4 numbers” was now a much more time consuming painting project. Another message to the homeowner with a picture and updated quote then wait to see if homeowner accepts updated quote.

Now I ask homeowners to submit a picture of their plaque when requesting a quote. This ensures there are no surprises for me when I show up to paint or for the homeowner so they don’t get a revised quote.

Below are pictures of 3 different plaques all in the SAME neighborhood (Mustang Lakes) and all on the SAME street - see descriptions under each picture. There are 2 more types of plaques not pictured.

All I ask is that you be respectful of my time and business. I ask for a picture so I can give you an accurate quote. No picture, no quote.

It was a beautiful day to paint this address plaque. I do believe it was my first one to paint in this neighborhood.
