Barndoor vanity with gray stain. Combination of select and white pine (baskets came from Target). The barndoor was needed because the bathroom this is going into has a door that opens in toward the vanity, preventing the left door on the existing vanity from opening fully when the room door is open (drawers would also be partially blocked if they were on the left side). The sliding door will solve this problem.

This chest serves as both a package dropoff and a cat shelter in winter (this one is made mostly of scrap wood). Most winters a stray will move into the lower section (and hiss at me every time it sees me). The package floor serves as the shelter ceiling but is removable for easy access to the shelter. The shelter floor, ceiling, and three walls are insulated, and I'll put a couple old towels in there too. In summer just clean it out and put the panel back to help keep wasps or other unwanted critters out.
