The butterfly bush (also called Buddleia) is a fast-growing flowering shrub loved for its nectar rich blooms, sweet fragrant smell, and long flowering season!

Did you know that all of the varieties we carry have sterile (less than 2% germination) flowers? That means you can enjoy all of the beauty + benefits of the butterfly bush without fear of it naturalizing/becoming invasive!

If you are creating a butterfly garden, be sure to include host plants such as butterfly w**d (milkw**d) as well as nectar rich plants. This will give butterflies a good habitat for their complete life cycle!

The wait is over - Hardy Hibiscus is finally here! 🌺🎉

We planted these in mid-April as bare-root plants, and now they’re finally ready! They are one of the last perennials to get started in the spring, but that doesn’t slow them down. They’ll start blooming in the summer and produce BIG, dinner-plate-sized flowers (as pictured in this reel).

These Hardy Hibiscus love water and can form bushes that grow about 4–5 feet tall and wide! Plus, they’re part of the Rose Mallow family, which makes them native to Arkansas.

If you’ve been waiting for these beauties, now is the time to come get them! We have a limited quantity available, and once they’re gone, they’re gone. See ya soon!

Update Friday, May 29th: It got close but the water didn’t crest over the banks, at least not on all sides so we did not flood! We are open today, the water has receded but we will be watching what this round of rain does and may close early again today if it gets bad again. Thanks for all the well wishes, and we wish you all a good and safe day!

We are closing early today… for fairly obvious reasons! Trust us, you will enjoy your visit more if you come on a different day. Everyone stay safe out there!

All of the daylilies are starting to put on their buds and blooms and show their happy faces to us! Many of the daylilies we carry are ones we’ve been growing ourselves - they were planted in August of last year, so they’ve had 9 months to get well established and are looking beautiful!

We have all sorts of gorgeous color combinations to choose from - come take a peek! 🌼
