How to Prevent Frozen Pipes
*Keep garage doors closed especially if there are water supply lines in the garage.
*Open kitchen and bathroom cabinet doors to allow warmer air to circulate around the plumbing. Be sure to move any harmful cleaners and household chemicals up out the reach of children.
*When the weather is very cold outside, let the cold and hot water drip from the faucet. Running water through the pipe - even at a trickle - helps prevent pipes from freezing.
*Keep the thermostat set to the same temperature both during the day and at night. By temporarily suspending the use of lower nighttime temperatures, you may incur a higher heating bill, but you can prevent a much more costly repair job if pipes freeze and burst.
*If you will be going away during cold weather, leave the heat on in your home, set to a temperature no lower than 55 degrees.
*Make sure you disconnect water hose from outside faucet.
*Make sure to cover outside faucet with insulated coverings.
*If you do experience pipes freezing over be sure to locate your meter and shut off water at meter. When it thaws there are good chances you will have leaks that need repair. By shutting off meter you will minimize possible water damage when the line thaws out. Call us to be on-site when meter is turned back on to quickly locate the leaks. Additionally shut down any water heaters especially electric to prevent these appliances from also failing after a freeze.

Hi everyone, we hope you all are doing well and practicing safe measures to help contain the spread of COVID-19. We know these are uncertain times and want to assist in all of this the best we know how. We are reaching out to other businesses that may be experiencing plumbing related issues in the midst of all this uncertainty. If you have a business, such as a restaurant, store, or establishment that has been affected and have some issues that need addressed sooner rather than later then please call, text, or email at one of the options below. We know your business has been depleted, customers are scarce and funds are tight. We will do whatever is possible on the pricing and create flexible solutions for everyone.
We can also still help with issues in your home, however we do ask that you consider our employees and not invite us over if you have recently had any symptoms.
Additionally we know there is a lot of uncertainty about what shutdowns may happen soon, and we hope that none of that has to happen, however if it does have to happen then know we will still be here for you. Plumbers are considered Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers by the DHS and therefore even in the worst of it we will be there ready if any needs arise.
We are all in this together and hopefully soon we can all return to life as normal.
