Introducing this month’s Legacy team spotlight: Kermit Ferris!

If you've had Kermit out to your home, you know he brings a wealth of knowledge with him. He’s been a staple in the pest control industry for a whopping 26 years, with the last seven being right here at Legacy!

As a Pest Control Technician, Kermit loves staying on the move and setting a schedule that lets him focus on what he loves most: his customers. He truly lives by the motto: "When you’re in the service industry, you need the heart of a servant." ❤️

When he's not taking care of customers, Kermit's favorite ways to enjoy his free time are spending time at his home on the White River, swimming, fishing, grilling out, or hunting. 🎣

Fun Fact: Kermit has a one-year-old pet raccoon named Nicki! 🦝 He rescued Nicki as an abandoned baby and has been raising it ever since.

We are incredibly grateful for Kermit's dedication, his servant’s heart, and the energy he brings to our team every day. Thank you for all you do!

1 in 5 Arkansans face food insecurity, and the Arkansas Foodbank is working everyday to change that.

This mission is one that means a lot to us, and this year we want to do more than volunteer our time, we want to volunteer our voice. To do this, we partnered to create this awareness campaign and call on our fellow neighbors and businesses to help where it matters most... at home ❤️.

Yesterday we had an incredible day volunteering at the Arkansas Foodbank! Together, our two groups packed 7,000 pounds of potatoes and 559 boxes of cereal.

What makes it even more meaningful is knowing this food will go directly to fellow Arkansans who need it most.

Thank you to everyone who showed up and gave their time! This organization does an amazing job not only making volunteering enjoyable, but creating a real impact in our community ❤️

Introducing this month’s employee spotlight: Rick Melvin!

Rick has been a key member of the Legacy team for the past five years, serving as our dedicated Pest Technician in North Little Rock. If you’ve worked with Rick, you know he is truly a "man of the people." He’s always said his favorite part of the job is the opportunity to meet and learn about new people every day. And judging by the glowing reviews from our customers, the feeling is mutual!

When he’s off the clock, Rick enjoys diving into a good book. He’s a big fan of non-fiction, especially biographies and history. However, when he’s in the mood for some spaceships and laser beams, he’s a loyal Star Trek fan. Live long and prosper, Rick! 🖖

On the musical side of things, Rick is a true connoisseur of classic rock, and he’s got the concert track record to prove it. He's seen icons like Led Zeppelin, Rush, Foreigner, and Van Halen live on stage. 🤘

We’re so lucky to have Rick in the Legacy family. It’s hard to find someone who operates with such genuine care and compassion for every customer he visits. Thank you for all you do, Rick!
