We built this deck and handrail a few years ago for a previous owner. Believe or not, the new home owner called and asked to schedule an appointment. When I arrived I immediately recognized the home and the back deck. We added the metal roof with a v-groove ceiling. The electrician will add several cans, a tv receptacle and many more amenities. Aluminum fascia and a slight brown ceiling will follow next week when the weather warms up. Another job in the near future, we will build an extra bathroom in the lower basement floor from a home owner I met a couple of years ago for a different project. I guess after 50 years of residential home building, we are in the process of participating in a full circle effect.

I am at the age of 64. My son is at the age of 38. My grandson at the the age of 14 would like to work with us this summer. I asked him, we can’t call you gen x, is it gen Z? His response was, call me gen rainbow. After he noticed I was coking on my on spit, he changed it to gen purple.

They do call me Maestro. I built this one in my sleep. Outdoor living area with a fire pit. The six sided opening is for an exhaust vent that will be custom built to hang over the pit. This design can be enjoyed during a chilly wet wintery day.

I’m a carpenter by trade. Licensed home builder and prior to the storm, I was already booked up for the next 4-5 months. I pray for each and everyone of you that has damage. At this time if you call or text me, you would have to be scheduled. By chance, if you do hire someone, work/comp and general liability insurance is a must, look at their policy. Also verify if the policy is active by contacting the company. And please if they state that a permit is not necessary, don’t hire them. Don’t write them a check until lumber is on the ground!!! Don’t write them a check until labor is obvious. I’ve been in this business since 1975 and would like to keep anyone from experiencing grief on top of what they are going through. Also, if you are not sure if the work is being done properly, don’t hesitate in giving me a call. 1-501-590-5978
