Hi Pinnacle Mountain master gardeners. We will be meeting next Thursday August 27th at 7:30 am. It looks like it may be a bit cooler which would be wonderful. Still bring lots of water, a hat and a cooling cloth. We will probably pull w**ds and maybe collect seeds.

See you all this coming Thursday.

Hi all,

I am sending this again. Looks like some of you are not getting the emails. Please let Carol know soon if you are interested since Ruth is wanting to get a head count.

We plan on collecting seeds on August 13th at Pinnacle and will bring them to the Seed Saving Project on the 19th. Our hours at the Seed Saving Project will count toward Pinnacle Mountain hours.

Please contact Carol if you plan on coming. See below for the original email.

Pinnacle Mountain Master gardeners are invited to join Ruth Landers and Carol at the Extension Office on Roosevelt Rd. on August 19th. We will meet from 9-11 am.

Carol has arranged for all of us to meet with Ruth at their seed saving project. Tour includes where the seeds are stored and harvested from seed pods and the labeling process.

Contact Carol if you are able to come. She will need a head count.

We can see where many of our seeds from Pinnacle Mountain actually get packaged and given out to continue to encourage gardeners to plant Arkansas Native Plants.

Should be fun.

Pinnacle Mountain Master Gardeners what a day we had. It actually stayed in the 70’s all morning with a nice breeze. All 15 of you worked hard pulling w**ds and enjoying the cooler weather. Kat brought her sweet dogs who kept order. We took a rest time in the shade eating wonderful peaches and bread. The peaches were amazing May and the bread that you brought Carol was wonderful as well.

We all missed Elaine and are sending her prayers and comfort for her upcoming surgery.

Great day at the gardens, thanks for all the hard work and happy smiles.
