Mason made some progress at the barn job in McSherrystown! Got the few courses of block laid to close in the old barn doors. Hes also parging the entire foundation to clean it up and to add an additional barrier for moisture. We will paint foundation after parging is cured to match the siding. We took delivery of the siding from yesterday! Siding to be installed Tuesday. These old barn doors are getting closed in and the siding will be installed to make faux barn doors on the exterior to still keep that barn look but allow the entertainment space on the interior to be functional to their needs. This place is shaping up super sweet!

Removing the charred remnants of what used to be a roof today! Garage caught on fire & we’re here to do the framing of a new roof system & rebuild the walls that were damaged in the fire.

Last of demo, rebuild corner of building & replace the truss carriers tomorrow.

Set trusses and roof sheathing friday.

I really hope the weather allows us to be productive the next 2 days. Our schedule is so tight I CANNOT waste 2 days of rain 😭

Mason landing at the barn job today to lay a couple courses of block so we can close in these old barn doors. He’s also going to parge the foundation so we can paint it and clean it up. Some suupppper cool siding is ~finally~ gonna be delivered this week (after 12 weeks) and immediately installed. This place is gonna look completely different in the next 7 days. Stay tuned for updates on this job!

we are starting the tear off of a garage roof that caught on fire. this is another local contractor’s job that we are doing the removal of the entire roof system and framing including setting trusses (hip roof), roof sheathing, fascia, and rebuilding the corner of the building that was damaged by the fire. this includes replacement of 3 of the posts and several truss carriers. our duties on this job are framing only. should be torn off and back together in just a couple days 👍🏼

Passed drywall Inspection this morning at the basement job in HANOVER. the drywall guys wasted no time cranking away immediately after the inspector left. Gonna be a few days until anymore progress is made at this job while we wait for the joint compound to dry.
