Yesterday was a great day for the **JA Corey Electric team!** ⚡️
We stepped away from our normal schedules for a company meeting and employee appreciation day—and the entire day went off without a hitch.
We started the morning getting a few things accomplished at the shop before heading to the lake for our company meeting. We talked about where JA Corey is today, where we're headed, and what it will take for us to continue growing and improving together.
One of the most important things we talked about was what it means to be a **family business**.
To us, family isn't just about ownership or a last name. Every person on our team has a family, responsibilities, and a life outside of work. Being a family company means supporting each other, communicating, being accountable, taking ownership of our work, and building a healthy company that can continue supporting all the families who depend on it.
We're working hard behind the scenes to become a more organized and documented company, with better processes, clearer expectations, and stronger communication between our office and field teams—all while holding onto the local, family-business values that have been part of JA Corey Electric since the beginning.
Of course, we couldn't have a company appreciation day without having some fun!
After the meeting came our LEFT-RIGHT appreciation game, lunch, fishing, tubing, basketball, pickleball, plenty of laughs, and some well-earned time to simply enjoy each other's company. 🎣☀️
We're proud of the progress we're making and incredibly grateful for the people who show up every day to take care of our customers and represent JA Corey Electric throughout our community.
