Specific Duties
• Responsible for the safe, reliable and efficient transportation of company equipment to different construction sites as requested by the project manager, superintendent or President
• The employee will be exposed to working conditions that include working near loud, large heavy equipment and near moving mechanical parts
• This job requires working outdoors in inclement Colorado weather conditions, year-round
• Hours are somewhat flexible but general hours are 6am-4pm. It will be rare to work evenings and especially rare to work weekends.

Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience driving a lowboy or flatbed truck required
• Must possess a valid Colorado Driver’s License, and Class A CDL Heavy Hauler with manual endorsement, and an excellent MVR
• Organizational skills required- must be able to complete paperwork required for the position
• Must have the ability to work with limited supervision as well as with other mechanics and employees of the company
• Must be reliable, have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, good communication skills and be very safety oriented
• Occasionally required to lift up to 100 pounds

The Position
The Shop Foreman manages and performs the scheduled maintenance program, all repairs, modifications, and replacement of all company-owned vehicles and motorized mobile equipment. We have a fleet consisting of motor graders, rollers, loaders, scrapers, skid steers, light and medium duty trucks, lowboy, dump truck, various trailers, small saws/engines and slip form pavers. This is a working position that will perform the work solo, with other company employees or scheduled with vendors to accomplish the work. Critical success factors will be: maximize mechanical availability, prevent equipment breakdown, know your cost, manage fleet age thresholds. Candidate will also have an innovative and client focus approach and will work well as part of the project team.

Specific Duties:
• Oversees, updates and performs the scheduled maintenance program for truck and heavy equipment fleet
• Using the GPS tracking system, develop and manage maintenance planning- oversee maintenance records
• Daily monitoring of electronic DVIR system to know communicated issues from the field
• Keep equipment issues tracker up to date and communicates issues out to key stakeholders to ensure problems, nature of repair and status of repairs are understood and followed up on
• Prioritizes and performs unscheduled and emergency repairs in the field. Schedules with vendors when necessary
• Orders replacement parts ensuring that parts are correct and complete at the time of order
• Diagnoses and troubleshoots machine and engine malfunctions and failures
• Reads and understands the manufacture’s’ Operation, Maintenance, Party and Service Manuals per machine type and complies with its contents
• Develop and mentor staff in best practices in daily equipment maintenance. Alert field mgmt of behaviors or practices that need correction. Facilitates training where needed working with field mgmt
• Communicate professionally with clients, stakeholders and employees
• Fosters relationships with key suppliers and vendors
• Ensure compliance with all company safety and quality policies, practices and procedures
• Manages inventory levels of common supplies in shop and yard
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of mechanic repair and maintenance experience with heavy equipment
• Strong leadership and organizations skills. Strong computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Office suite

Preferred Skills & Qualifications
• Experience with and operational knowledge of modern slip form pavers
• Experience with equipment tracking programs such as Verizon Reveal
• Active CDL license
• Financial and equipment cost accounting experience

General Description
We are in need of an experienced concrete finisher and formsetter to be a part of an existing crew to pour large amount of concrete curbs, gutters, sidewalks and drivelanes/alleys. This lead/ crew chief role will assist in managing and holding crew accountable, ensure we hit production rates and quality.

Select Responsibilities and Qualifications:
• 5+ years of concrete finishing experience in the construction of concrete sidewalks, ADA ramps, curb, gutters, drivelanes etc.
• Leads, manages and holds crew accountable
• Hits production rates with zero quality issues
• Trains crew on the build process and the CCP way
• Responsible for correction on any deficient workmanship and sub-standard work
• Clear and consistent communication with crew for schedule and plan of the day (POD)
• Communicates and enforces company policies and procedures
• Ensures crews have exact time booked to correct job daily
• Must know how to read construction plans and grade stakes
• Operate equipment such as skid steers, wheel loaders, jumping jacks etc
• Must be able to provide own transportation to and from worksite
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds. The job is physically demanding requiring frequent bending at the waist, reaching, kneeling and/or squatting. The job also requires working in an outdoor environment with exposure to extreme heat and moderate cold.
• Gives toolbox talks/ safety meetings to crew
• Measures and provides accurate yield to Foreman or Superintendent

• Ensures quality clean up of site daily. Pack it in, pack it out
• Constant communication with foreman or superintendent on crew attendance performance issues
