IIBEC Great Lakes Chapter is helping great people do great things!
Meet Ethan - the 35th recipient of a Giving Songs wheelchair accessible vehicle grant.
Ethan, 11, has a number of medical diagnoses, including spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy, chronic static encephalopathy, refractory epilepsy, spasticity, microcephaly, amblyopia, esotropia, tracheobronchomalacia and subglottic stenosis. He has a tracheostomy and is G-tube dependent for feedings.
Thanks to amazing donations from both Great Lakes Chapter - IIBEC (International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants) and Eagles for Children, we were able to provide the family with a $10,000 wheelchair accessible vehicle grant.
Here is what Ethan's mother, Paula, said after receiving the grant:
"We couldn't have done this without the support of Giving Songs. They really helped make the financial load so much lighter and [it was] an easy, fast process. We thank them all so much."
