🚨 NOW HIRING: COMMERCIAL ESTIMATOR / PROJECT MANAGER 🚨

Are you the type of person who can walk a jobsite, identify solutions, build a winning proposal, and see a project through to completion?

Altech Doors is growing, and we're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Commercial Estimator / Project Manager.

Responsibilities:
✅ Conduct site visits and field measurements
✅ Prepare commercial estimates and proposals
✅ Review plans, specifications, and bid documents
✅ Order materials and coordinate vendors
✅ Manage projects from sale through completion
✅ Communicate with customers, suppliers, and installation teams
✅ Identify change orders and additional opportunities
✅ Ensure projects stay on schedule and on budget

What We're Looking For:
✔ Strong communication and organizational skills
✔ Construction, commercial door, or project management experience preferred
✔ Ability to read plans and specifications
✔ Self-motivated and solution-oriented mindset
✔ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

I'd like to take a moment to recognize and honor a true original in the garage door industry.

A couple weeks ago, we lost Mike Rashid of Rashid Garage Doors — a man who helped shape this trade through years of hard work, dedication, and leadership.

Mike was the kind of person who didn’t just work in the industry… he helped build it. The knowledge he shared, the relationships he built, and the standard he set will continue to carry on through the many people he impacted along the way.

Those who had the privilege of sitting with Mike and hearing his stories know exactly what made him special. There was always something to learn, always something to take with you.

I can’t say I’ll miss his smoke-filled office… but I will absolutely miss the man I got to know over the years.

In our line of work, respect is earned — and Mike earned it.

At Altech Doors, we have a deep appreciation for those who paved the way and set the bar for what this industry should be. Mike was one of those people.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and everyone in the door community who had the privilege of knowing him.
