My deepest sympathies go out to the family of the 2 year old in our hometown who tragically passed today during a tornado.

We have multiple customers in that area and are very familiar with the area. I was personally in the neighborhood 20 minuets after the tornado hit, and saw the distruction.

We did go back later on this evening and help assist a senior in need, and removed large branches, and fixed a fence that had been damaged.

As a parent, and someone who was once extremely petrified of storms, tornadoes to be specific, I can not not even begin to imagine what this family is going through at this moment.

I know the severe weather season has just started, hopefully this is the worst that we have this season.

The entire area still remains under a Winter Storm Warning. Although we did not receive the amount of snow that was predicted, this snowfall is very wet, and hard to move.

If you are on our recurring list of customers, please be patient with us, as it is taking longer to remove.

We also provide services to clear the bottom of the driveway once the city clears the street!

Nice Touch Landscape is a full service, locally owned landscape business, and I would like to find someone to come work with me to help keep people’s yards looking great.
This would probably start out between 25 to 40 hours a week.


I’m looking for someone who:

Has a dependable transportation and a clean driving record with a valid chauffeur's driver's license, along with a medical card. A clean valid drivers license is required for this job and will be checked. Sorry if you don’t have a clean record you can stop reading now.

Has experience driving at very least an Ford F250 or similar with a 20 foot inclosed trailer and a 14 foot dump trailer.


Enjoy’s working outside and being alone most of the time and with me and others some of the time. I’ll either show you or tell you what the task of the day is and then leave you alone to complete the task. I’ll always a phone call away if you have questions.

Is dependable (I’m talking VERY dependable, not the “I’m sorry for being late again” type.) If you’re known for being on time, that’s a good thing.

Don’t take things personally, we all get offended, always use logic to make decisions and remember we are here to help the customer.

Is cool and relaxed but always pushing to get things done. It’s important to take responsibility for what you do and the focus is to deliver results.

Is presentable and can pass a drug test.

The main factors of the job:

Running errands, landscaping, digging, trimming, mowing, planting, moving rock, mulch, topsoil, sod installation.
Lifting heavy materials and moving them
Keeping tools and equipment clean and organized and in good working order, during and after the project.

Skill Sets this job requires:

Ability to run a commercial zero turn mower, trimmer and edger. Basically all aspects of commercial equipment required to mow a homeowners lawn. Also, the occasional cemetery too!

Ability to run any commercial rental equipment that might be needed to get the job done.

A fine eye for finishing touches on pristine landscape installs, including brick retainer walls, plant spacing and mulch and rock installs.

Ability to work alone, or with a crew to get the day’s schedule completed.

Weekly availability Monday to Friday starting as early as 7am with the occasional weekend to make up for rain days.

Pay for the position described above starting at $17.00 per hour

If you’re the type of person that’s looking for just another “job” to just pay the bills this is probably not for you.
