Ashton Tree & Landscape is a leading landscaping company serving the Livonia, MI area, specializing in residential and commercial landscaping projects. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality work and exceptional customer service.
We are looking for an experienced, organized, and detail-oriented Landscape Foreman to be responsible for overseeing the design, construction, and maintenance of landscaping projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of plants, trees, and shrubs and the ability to manage a team of landscape workers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervision and Management:
Lead and supervise crews, assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure work is completed on time and to specifications.
• Project Planning and Coordination:
Assist with project planning, design implementation, and material ordering, ensuring all aspects of the project are managed efficiently.
• Quality Control:
Maintain high standards of workmanship, inspect completed work, and address any issues or defects.
• Safety and Compliance:
Ensure all safety regulations are followed, maintain a safe work environment, and report any hazards.
• Communication:
Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members, resolving issues and addressing concerns.
• Technical Expertise:
Possess a strong understanding of landscaping techniques, plant knowledge, and the operation of landscaping equipment.
• Problem-Solving:
Identify and resolve problems that arise during projects, ensuring the project stays on schedule and within budget.
• Documentation:
Keep accurate records of time, materials, and project progress, and prepare reports as needed.
• Training and Development:
Provide training and guidance to crew members, ensuring they are competent and capable.
