Some jobs take us where most people never see the inside of their home. 🏠

When an HVAC system sits in the attic, the only way in is sometimes straight through the roof. Our crew at Shields AC & Heating, LLC handles these jobs carefully, from pulling back the roofing material to reaching the ductwork and aging components below. It's precise work, and doing it right means your system gets repaired or replaced without damage to the rest of your home.

As a local HVAC contractor serving San Marcos and the surrounding area, we see plenty of older systems tucked away in tight attic spaces. Whether it's AC repair, heat pump repair, or a full AC installation, our team knows how to access and service equipment that other companies might struggle to reach.

✔ Careful roof access and attic work
✔ AC installation and replacement in tight spaces
✔ HVAC repair for hard-to-reach systems

With cooler weather settling in across the area, late fall is a smart time to deal with that aging unit before you need heat on a cold night.

Give Shields AC & Heating, LLC a call and let our team handle the tough spots so you stay comfortable.

Good HVAC repair starts with someone who actually knows what they're looking at. 🔧

When one of our technicians opens up your unit, they're not guessing. Every wire gets checked, every connection gets tested, and every component gets looked over the right way. That kind of hands-on attention is what separates a quick patch job from air conditioning service that actually lasts. It's also how small problems get caught before they turn into a late night emergency AC repair call.

Shields AC & Heating, LLC is a local HVAC contractor proudly serving Kyle and the surrounding area. From AC repair and AC installation to furnace repair and heat pump repair, our team handles it all with the same careful approach you'll see in any of our service visits.

As the end of October rolls in and those cooler nights start showing up, now is a smart time to have your system checked before you really need the heat.

Contact Shields AC & Heating, LLC today and schedule your visit with an AC company that treats your system like their own.

That dusty blower wheel in your HVAC system is quietly working against you. 😮

All that buildup restricts airflow, which means your system runs longer, works harder, and costs you more on your energy bill. It can even lead to bigger problems that turn into an emergency AC repair or furnace repair down the line. The good news is that a thorough air conditioning service visit includes cleaning components like this so your system can breathe again.

At Shields AC & Heating, LLC, our HVAC contractor team takes maintenance seriously. We don't just glance at the filter and call it a day. We inspect the parts that actually move your air and make sure everything is running clean and efficient for homeowners in Lockhart and the surrounding communities.

👉 Cleaner blower wheel means better airflow
👉 Better airflow means lower energy bills
👉 Lower strain means fewer surprise breakdowns

As we head into the cooler stretch of fall, it's a great time to get your system serviced before heating season kicks in full swing.

Reach out to Shields AC & Heating, LLC to schedule your maintenance visit and keep your home comfortable all season long.

What you see when the top comes off an AC unit tells you a lot. 🔧

The fan, compressor, and coils all work together, and when dust, debris, or wear builds up on any of them, the whole system suffers. Weak airflow, strange noises, and higher energy bills usually start right here, inside the unit, long before the system quits on you. Regular air conditioning service keeps these parts clean and catching small issues early is a lot cheaper than an emergency AC repair later.

At Shields AC & Heating, LLC, our HVAC repair team goes beyond the surface. We check the fan motor, inspect the coils, test the compressor, and make sure your system is ready for whatever the season brings.

✔ AC repair and AC installation
✔ Furnace repair and heat pump repair
✔ Emergency AC repair and commercial HVAC

With late October settling in around San Marcos, it's the right time to have a local HVAC contractor take a look before you switch over to heat.

Give Shields AC & Heating, LLC a call and schedule your service with an AC company that knows these systems inside and out.

Ever wonder what's actually inside your AC system? ⚙️

This is a fan motor getting installed, and it's one of the hardest working parts in your whole setup. When this motor wears out, airflow drops, your system strains, and your energy bill climbs. Swapping it out the right way means checking connections, securing the mount, and making sure everything spins true before we close it up.

That attention to detail is what you get with every air conditioning service from Shields AC & Heating, LLC. As a local HVAC contractor serving Lockhart, we handle everything from a worn fan motor to full AC installation.

• HVAC repair and heat pump repair
• Furnace repair before the cold snaps hit
• Emergency AC repair when you can't wait
• Commercial HVAC for local businesses

Mid-October is the sweet spot for getting your system checked around Lockhart. Cooling season is winding down, and a quick inspection now can catch tired parts before your heater needs them most.
