People pleasing has NO place in the delivery room.

You don’t have to be the “easy patient.”
You don’t have to say yes because you’re worried about being difficult.
You don’t have to make your provider comfortable with YOUR decisions.

Ask the question.
Take the time.
Say no.
Change your mind.
Be inconvenient.

Birth is a really good time to stop worrying about whether everyone likes you. 😘

I don’t fit neatly into any box. And it can be a bit lonely. Although I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I am an individual with unique experiences that have shaped my life and my beliefs. Much like you. Above all, I believe in kindness, curiosity, justice and protection for those less privileged, and dialogue before division.

We all come with labels and those labels carry assumptions and preconceived notions.
