Cloudy or discolored water can be caused by a variety of things, but in this case the video shows something specific — a heavy buildup of sulfur inside the well. Overtime, sulfur can coat the inside of the well and plumbing, and when it breaks loose, it can turn the water dark or even black.

We had a customer call us with water that was coming out rusty and slow. After checking things over, we found the water line was mostly plugged with iron. Instead of replacing the entire line, we were able to clean it out and save them a big expense of replacing the entire water line.
With the lines cleared and a new iron filter system installed, they now have clean, clear water again.
