When it comes to building, the term “Custom” gets thrown around quite a bit these days, we do our level best to interpret and achieve the Customers Dreams and Visions, leaving them with a truly one of a kind Home that exhibits the fact that human hands touched every square inch of it! Evidenced in the smallest of details such as in this one, reclaimed interior doors thru out, re milled and mortised by hand, reclaimed beadboard, flooring, porch posts from an 1895 home repurposed into stairway newel posts, along with shop milled Pecan stair treads and balusters, in shop handmade exterior doors, the homeowner’s Grandmother’s recipes turned into pantry wallpaper, 100 year old screen door re sized and mortised as a pantry door, old Chicago brick floor, columns, chimney and fireplace, 150 year old hand hewn beams, fluted trim from 1895 home re purposed into plinth blocks on transom doors, the list goes on and on!
