Deconstruction & ReUse Network is an environmental and social benefit non-profit. We promote deconstruction practices and the reuse of building materials and surplus property.
What do we do? First, it’s important to understand what deconstruction is. Deconstruction is a viable, green alternative to traditional demolition. Unlike traditional demolition, which uses machinery to raze properties leaving nothing but waste, deconstruction is done by hand to insure the building materials are carefully removed and the items can be reused. Deconstruction is reasonable alternative for both residential and commercial projects.
Where do the materials go to be reused? Deconstruction & ReUse Network pairs the salvaged building materials with our non-profit partners, keeping your property out of the landfill and giving the materials a second life.
We also pair surplus property with the needs of local and international charities, keeping those items out of the waste stream.
These are our Charitable Reuse programs for building materials and surplus property.
